Description
The Placement of Letters set helps a child learn where each letter sits on a line: which letters stand tall, which hang below the line and which stay in the middle. The child chooses letters from the tray and places them along the ruled mat to build words.
The direct aim is correct letter formation and placement; the indirect aim is preparation for handwriting, spelling and a steady left-to-right habit of reading. It pairs naturally with the sandpaper letters and the movable alphabet.
