Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://montessorimaterials.co.ke (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from Montessori For Kenya (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Products
We make every effort to display our Montessori materials and their descriptions, dimensions, and prices as accurately as possible. However, we do not guarantee that product descriptions, images, or other content on the Site are always accurate, complete, or error-free. Colours and finishes of wooden materials may vary slightly from images shown, as these are natural products.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are set in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices can be displayed in other currencies for convenience; the amount charged is the Kenyan Shilling total shown at checkout, and any other currency shown is an estimate at our current exchange rate. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, though changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
We accept payment via M-Pesa, and by bank transfer or invoice where offered at checkout. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and verified.
Shipping and Delivery
We deliver to the regions listed at checkout. Delivery costs and estimated timeframes depend on your selected delivery location and will be shown before you complete your order. While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delays may occur due to factors outside our control (e.g. weather, courier delays, or incomplete address information). Customers shipping outside Kenya are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs charges applied in their country.
Risk of loss and title for products purchased pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided.
Order Cancellations and Changes
If you need to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible at workshop@montessoriforkenya.org or 0718 414 222. We can only guarantee changes or cancellations before an order has been dispatched.
Returns and Refunds
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item, and we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
Custom or made-to-order items, and items returned without their original packaging, may not be eligible for return. Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Intended Use
Our products are educational materials designed for use under appropriate adult supervision. Please follow any age recommendations, care instructions, or safety guidance provided with each product.
Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Montessori For Kenya or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Montessori For Kenya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, beyond the value of the order in question.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
