Description
The full set of three-dimensional geometric solids - sphere, cube, cone, cylinder, pyramid and more - for exploring form by sight and touch.
Handling true three-dimensional solids (rather than their two-dimensional representations) gives the child an embodied, tactile understanding of geometric form well before these shapes are named and classified formally.
As with every Sensorial material, it isolates a single quality for the child to explore in a self-correcting, repeatable format - the design principle behind the entire Sensorial curriculum. Sourced and quality-checked by Montessori for Kenya for classrooms, home environments and teacher training settings.
