Description
Ten brown wooden prisms of equal length but graduated in width and height, arranged from thickest to thinnest.
Where the Pink Tower isolates size in three dimensions, the Brown Stair isolates two (width and height) with length held constant, sharpening the child's ability to judge dimension independently of the others.
As with every Sensorial material, it isolates a single quality for the child to explore in a self-correcting, repeatable format - the design principle behind the entire Sensorial curriculum. Sourced and quality-checked by Montessori for Kenya for classrooms, home environments and teacher training settings.
