Description
Subtraction Chart 1 is part of the Subtraction chart series. Once a child has explored subtracting with the concrete materials, the chart gives them a clear, organised place to record the facts they have discovered and to see the pattern in them.
Working with the chart moves the child from the concrete to the abstract: from handling quantities to recognising the relationships between numbers. The chart is used with its matching control chart, so the child can check their own work.
Like all our materials, it is sourced and quality-checked by Montessori for Kenya for use in AMI/AMS-aligned classrooms, home environments and teacher training settings across Kenya.
